Ivy Apea Owusu is the Chief Executive Officer of Cirrus Oil Services Limited. She has over 15 years’ experience in the Energy Sector, Leadership, Business Strategy, People and Talent Management, Change Management, Deal Structuring and Underwriting, Portfolio and Risk Management.

Ivy joined Cirrus Oil in 2009 as the company’s Risk Manager and subsequently became General Manager, Commerce. She was appointed CEO in November 2010. In this role, she has spearheaded a wide range of health and education related community activities.
Prior to joining Cirrus, Ivy worked with GE Capital in the USA and UK from 2002 until August 2009 in Energy Financing and Structured Finance. During this period she garnered hands on experience in both Debt and Equity financing in the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Renewable and Ancillary Energy Services Sectors. In August 2007, Ivy was appointed Risk Director and transferred to London, UK to set up and head a European Structured Finance desk for GE’s French Bank (GECFB). Prior to that, she was with the Consumer Banking Department at Ecobank Ghana from 1998 until 2001.

Ivy is a non-executive board member at Woodfields Energy Resources Ltd and Surfline Communications Ltd. She is also a board director at the Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD).

Ivy has held numerous speaking engagements; some of which include giving the key note address for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Power Breakfast, panel presenter at the 2013 TICAD V conference in Japan, speaker at the 2013 African Refiners Association Annual conference in South Africa, speaker at a CWC Energy Conference in Ghana, Speaker at ClariT events, etc.

Ivy holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University in TN, USA and a BA (Admin) from the University of Ghana, Legon. She also holds leadership certificates from both Harvard and Stanford Business Schools in the USA.

Ivy is married with two children.

Currently, Mr. France is the President of the Ghana Securities Industry Association and serves on the following Boards, Ghana Stock Exchange, Ghana Alternative Market, UT Life Insurance Company, Early Power Limited and Secure Pensions Trust Limited and Amandi Energy Power Plant.

Before 1997, Mr. France was a founder/partner of HRK Associates, Inc., a specialized financial consulting firm headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. As a principal of HRK, he arranged corporate finance and acquisition transactions in excess of US$2.3 billion. From 1987 to 1993, Mr. France was the Vice President and Director of Tax for AMF Industries, where he structured and participated in the acquisition of several multinational manufacturing and services businesses in twelve countries. From 1986 to 1987, he was a Senior Analyst at American International Group. Mr. France is a graduate of the Executive Program of Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia. He received his B.B.A. (Accounting) from Bernard Baruch College, New York.

Fatima was recently honoured with the Mother of Ghana award for a social brand cause and was also stooled as the Queen Mother (Nkosohemaa) in Memia, Western Ghana for her role in social development in the area of women and children. She also drives the agenda for building Ghana as she sits on the committee of International trade relations at the AGI. She is also an avid writer in various publications and an astute speaker.

Petra Aba Asamoah is the General Manager, Commercial, for Media General Ghana Ltd, a media group, with TV3 Network Ltd as their most prominent brand.

Prior to joining the media group, she worked as General Manager for the Delta Air Lines GSA, leading the airline’s commercial teams in Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Cote D’Ivoire.
